cableami® is a Japanese hat maker founded by designers Shuji and Tomoka Sadamori in 2008. The name is made up of two words: ‘cable’ taken from the traditional Arran cable knitting style, and “ami,” which in Japanese translates to ‘knit’, and in French means “friend.” The ethos of the Cableami brand lies in crafting hats that, like a cherished cable-knit jumper, become beloved friends.
